
Pittsburgh Digital Greenhouse
Created and implemented "members only" portal working in tandem with Digital Greenhouse's public website to manage and process grant applications from Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, Casio, and universities around the globe for the research and development of System On a Chip technology, or S.O.C. All editing, management, administration and security is controlled by Digital Greenhouse via a Web interface. The portal also includes extensive upload and download capabilities for numerous types of documents including dynamically created PDF files. Web based archiving provides members secure anytime anywhere access to all components of grant application data past and present.
Laurel Highlands Visitors Bureau
Implemented an "easy to use" secure administration web site area that provides the Laurel Highlands staff the ability to update, view, and modify site content. Visitors to the Laurel website can easily request vacation packages, coupons, tour guide booklets, etc. In turn, this information is easily downloaded by Laurel staff members from the website in spreadsheet or Word document format. Results: substantial increase in member and customer activity, flexibility and control, and dramatic savings in time, cost, and resources. The Laurel Web site was awarded the prestigious "Golden Click" Web award at the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association’s International awards dinner in New York, and averages over 1 million viewers a month.
Pittsburgh Regional Alliance, PRA
Eliminated redundancy by incorporating data from other sources. Created a searchable database of all companies in the 10 county area. Data and demographics section maintained by the client with export capabilities to create documents for printed versions at the client's discretion. Extensive search tool built into the entire site complimented by an "easy to use" website administration area providing client complete control of their information. Results: significant reduction in data input time, and a dramatic increase in collaboration and communication among members and visitors.
Ringler Associates
Designed, implemented, and centralized a corporate file sharing system using Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 and Microsoft Access for all office activity such as daily office procedures, contacts, and accounts. Created an email system and corporate website supplying all needed support / services. Results: dramatic reduction in information gathering time, redundancy and the paper trail. Increased efficiency, communication, and service between staff and clients.
Turret Industries
Consolidated all corporate information and communication services, including WANs, LANs, phone systems, website, email system, and data storage. Results: increased productivity and efficiency, reduced operating costs, streamlined information flow between customers, offices, and vendors.
OSI Receivables
Implemented the OSI website which includes an easy-to-use resume submission form that provides candidates the choice to submit resume(s) to any OSI division across the country. This eliminated over-burdening of the central OSI human resource department and insured the submitted resume(s) would arrive at the intended division.
Four Rivers Software
Relocated Four Rivers Software's offices which involved breakdown, transport, configuration, and reintegration of all components of their information infrastructure. Included: computers, servers, phone system, copiers, fax, and all other peripherals. Results: A substantial savings of time, money, and resources by eliminating the need for multiple vendors and support.
